Condensation can be very bad for the walls in your home and the moisture in the air can play a big part in developing mould but there are ways to reduce and eradicate condensation. Extractor fans should be left on, especially if you’ve just had a shower or cooked a steamy dinner. Windows can also be left on vent lock to decrease condensation, while condensation strips for your windows can absorb moisture that’s so common on cold winter’s days. Removing condensation is all about reducing the moisture in the air, especially in the areas where there is little movement, such as behind wardrobes or curtains or blinds. The more fresh air your invite into your home, the healthier your walls and window frames will be.
